After dropping their first album “Rack” in over 2 decades just 2 months ago as well as announcing a new tour; The Jesus Lizard released a new non-album single. I think it’s safe to say these guys are back at it. They’re absolutely spoiling us! Check out the new song “Cost Of Living” below.
“Simply because I wrote the words to ‘Cost of Living’ doesn’t mean that I know exactly what it’s about,” David Yow shared in a recent press release. “I think it has to do with the dread and self-loathing that addicts experience on a very regular basis. You can pick whichever type of addict you choose.”
The influence that has come from them is undeniable. Whether this album and short run is just something for fun or a sign of more to come, we should all be grateful.
The Jesus Lizard will be touring North America and Europe throughout the end of this year and early 2025. Tour dates below.
